Publication Ethics

RSLE Journal attaches importance to high-level ethical publication and academic integrity. The journal is guided by accepted ethical standards in terms of transparency, originality, and impartiality in the publication process. These ethical principles are expected to be followed by all the individuals involved in the publishing process such as the authors, the editors and the reviewers.

1. Responsibilities of Authors

Manuscripts to be submitted to the RSLE Journal should be original, and should not have been published or submitted in any other places. Authors are expected to give credit to all the sources, and the co-authors mentioned must have largely participated in the study.

Authors must:

  • Submit original and unpublished research work
  • Give adequate citation and credit of sources.
  • It should be done without plagiarizing, fabricating data, or submitting it again.
  • Get all co-authors to give their approval to the manuscript.

2. Responsibilities of Editors

The duty of the editors is to make balanced and objective decisions on whether to accept a manuscript depending on how good, original, and relevant the study is.

Editors ensure:

  • An honest and open review procedure.
  • Anonymous treatment of the submitted manuscripts.
  • Merit-based and relevant decisions based on academics.

3. Responsibilities of Reviewers

The reviewers have a key role of ensuring that the journal remains high in quality through objective evaluation of the manuscripts as well as constructive feedback.

Reviewers should:

  • React fairly and objectively to review manuscripts.
  • Protect the anonymity of work.
  • Report potential plagiarism or ethical issues to the editors.

4. Plagiarism and Misconduct

RSLE Journal highly disallows plagiarism and unethical research activities. Every manuscript can be verified with the help of plagiarism detection software. Any plagiarism, falsification, or even duplication publication can lead to the rejection of a manuscript or its retraction.

5. Conflict of Interest

To maintain transparency of the publication process, authors, editors and reviewers have to reveal any conflicts of interest that may affect the research or its assessment.

6. Corrections and Retractions

Should any errors or ethical issues be found once the article is published, the journal can release corrections or retract the article to preserve the integrity of the academic record.
